TERMS AND CONDITIONS " The Fisherman's House
Confirmation of reservation
1. These conditions apply to all contracts of any kind entered into by ("the Client") and "L'anse de l'olivier" and apply to all reservations, bookings and accommodation arrangements. Confirmation of a booking by the Client shall constitute acceptance of these conditions on behalf of the Client and his/her guests. Booking and payment: The booking of the Fisherman's House will be confirmed on receipt of a deposit of 50% of the total rental amount. The balance is payable on arrival at the latest when paying in cash. Payments can be made by bank transfer, credit card, paypal etc. except for cheques when booking online directly on ansedelolivier.fr Cancellation policy: Clients can cancel their booking up to 7 days before the scheduled arrival date, without any charges. If the cancellation is made less than 7 days before the arrival date, a fee of 50% of the total rental amount will be retained.
2. If a Client or their guest wishes to leave earlier than the booked departure date, they must follow the cancellation policy of their booking.
3. Any cancelled or amended booking that has been processed by credit card will not be refunded the credit card surcharge.
4. If a cancelled or amended booking has been booked with a promotional rate or code, no refund will be given.
5. The customer must provide 7 days written notice to request an extension to the reserved move date. "L'Anse de l'Olivier will endeavour to accommodate any request for such an extension, however, this will be strictly subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Alternative accommodation may be offered if the original accommodation booked is not available for all or part of the extension period.
6. The terms and conditions apply to any extension of the booking as to the original booking.
7. Whilst every reasonable effort has been made by L'anse de l'olivier to ensure that bookings made can continue, L'anse de l'olivier reserves the right to move any booking to another house of similar size and standard in the locality. The Client shall have the right to cancel any such booking in such circumstances, but the Client acknowledges that "L'anse de l'olivier" shall not accept any liability for any loss or damage suffered by or caused to the Client or his/her guests as a result of (i) the relocation of the Client or his/her guests or (ii) the subsequent cancellation by the Client in accordance with this clause. Arrival and Departure Conditions of Occupancy: The Fisherman's House is designed for a maximum occupancy of 4 persons.
8. Check-in is from 16.00 hours.
9. Prior to arrival, "L'anse de l'olivier" will request a copy of photo identification and details of the credit card used to make the booking. This is done as part of our normal security check, in the interest of all parties to protect "L'anse de l'olivier", the Client and their guests from fraud.
10. On arrival, "L'anse de l'olivier" may require a deposit of €400, in the form of a pre-authorisation of a credit or debit card at check-in (cash will not be accepted). The deposit or pre-authorisation is used to cover incidental costs, including (but not limited to): breaches of these terms and conditions; breakages; damage to the house; excessive cleaning above the normal cleaning level due to the house being left in an unacceptably clean condition, chargeable at €150. (Please note that pre-authorisation may affect the balance of funds available or the spending limit on the credit or debit card used at the time of check-in for a period of 7 days (please note that this is an indicative period only). Once a pre-authorisation has been made, L'Anse de l'Olivier cannot release, delete or reduce the authorised amount until L'Anse de l'Olivier processes the final account after departure, in case of dispute, this may take up to 30 days.
11. "L'Anse de l'olivier" reserves the right to refuse entry and accommodation to a guest if, on arrival, the management of "L'Anse de l'olivier" considers that the guest is under the influence of drink or drugs, is badly dressed or behaves in a threatening, abusive or otherwise unacceptable manner.
12. Duration of the rental: The minimum rental period is 2 nights. Arrivals are from 4pm and departures before 11am.
12-1. On departure, guests must leave their accommodation and vacate their accommodation by 11.00 am at the latest. If this is not the case, "L'anse de l'olivier" will be entitled to charge 40€ for departures after 11.30am but before 2pm and a full night's stay for departures at 2pm or later on the agreed departure date.
12-2. Cleaning: The tenant agrees to leave the house in a satisfactory state of cleanliness at the end of the rental period.
13. A minimum fee of 60€ will be charged for keys not returned within 24 hours of the departure date.
14. "L'anse de l'olivier reserves the right to remove a guest's personal belongings from the house if the guest has not arrived by 3pm on the agreed departure date and L'anse de l'olivier accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to these items. Guests' responsibilities.
15. The Guest acknowledges that he/she has received and agrees to abide by the house rules and procedures in force from time to time, including, but not limited to, health and safety procedures and legal requirements.
15A. The Client undertakes to ensure that a Guest complies with the house rules and procedures referred to in the clauses below.
16. Guests are responsible for their personal belongings while at home.
16-1 The owner cannot be held responsible for any theft, loss, damage or accident that occurs during the rental period.
16-2 Insurance: The Hirer must have third party insurance for the duration of the rental period.
16-3 Non-compliance with the conditions: In the event of non-compliance with the rental conditions, the owner reserves the right to terminate the rental contract.
17. Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult guest at all times.
18. The Client accepts full responsibility for any damage caused to the house or its contents beyond normal wear and tear. Customers must immediately inform "L'anse de l'olivier" of any damage, loss or broken items or issues requiring maintenance. If damage is reported to us by the cleaning team, a minimum charge of €25 per item will be made.
Disputes: All disputes relating to the rental will be settled in the competent court. By signing the rental contract, the tenant (the client) acknowledges having read the terms and conditions of the rental of the fisherman's cottage at Anse de l'Olivier and accepts them without reservation.
